Activation of energy and hot water meters: The work, which began in July, is progressing well. These meters are scheduled to be activated on January 1, 2026.

Building supervision and technical management: As part of the ECOQUARTIER certification, the VIA MARENDA complex is equipped with communicating energy and hot water meters. This system has three objectives:

1- To enable usage-based billing for heating/cooling and hot water in each apartment;

2- To ensure overall energy consumption monitoring and measure the energy efficiency of the installed equipment;

3- To provide alerts in case of leak detection.

The automatic meter readings are taken monthly. Payment requests are based on an estimate, with the annual balance calculated based on the actual meter readings.

The leak detection system is configurable and will activate when more than 100 liters of hot water are used between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM.
